Indonesian Food Bazaar!

Coincidentally, a few weeks ago some friends and I spent the day in Queens (Fun Fact: The most diverse borough and geographic area in the whole U.S.!) and visited an Indonesian Food Bazaar, because naturally there are Indonesians in Queens. Delightful home cooked food and all proceeds going to orphans in Indonesia http://www.roslinorphanage.org/? Sounds like a recipe for success.

T Minus 6 Days!!

In less than a week I'll be jetting off to Indonesia! I'm beyond excited and feel so lucky to be a part of this amazing experience! I only wish I had more time to prepare (myself and my students). Sadly, we are in the midst of some serious test prep. "Who is most closely related to Botana Curus? Species X, Y, or Z?" is the most pressing question of the week. Instead I'd like to ask my students: Do you know where Indonesia is? What are people like there? What is the environment like there? What do you want to know about your teenage counterparts? And what do you want them to know about you? If only there were more time. Back to Botana Curus for now. "Who IS most closely related," you ask? The answer...will be shared tomorrow. :)
